I am an experienced estate planning attorney who counsels clients on the transfer of property during life and at death with minimal estate, gift, generation-skipping and income taxes.  I have been practicing in the field for over 25 years.  I am licensed to practice law in North Carolina, Florida, the District of Columbia and Maryland.  I have an LL.M. in Taxation and am board certified in Florida in both Wills, Trusts and Estates and in Elder Law.

I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families to craft estate plans that achieve their personal goals and are thoughtful of their unique circumstances. I began my legal practice with traditional estate planning and over the years have expanded my footprint to include guardianship, contested wills and trusts and special needs planning.
